I am the author of nine books. The
last two books I decided to self-publish. I moved away from traditional publishers because I didn’t receive the marketing
support the books deserved. I have been successful working independently because I have developed multiple
marketing channels. One of my self-published books has sold nearly 5000 copies and continues to chug along.
One of my guiding principles is that cooperation among
independents is a multiplier. In other words, the more I help you, the more I help myself.

Twitter: More than twitter, using software I have integrated over 40 social media sites and will tweet your
book. That single tweet will reach over 100,000 people. Click on that link, follow the

Blogging: Everybody tells you to blog. But, without out a readership, your blog is simply chatter.
I publish blogs in several specific categories. These blogs have multiple authors (one has over
60 authors) and they too are integrated into software which promulgates the blog entry through various social medias.
If you blog about the military, terrorism, science and technology, leadership, outdoor activities or justice, these

Website Listings: If you are or ever have been in the military, police or fire service, this is the place to ensure
your book is listed. Again, I publish these sites and they receive over a million visits a year –

Podcasts: This is a very competitive niche – but, I have made pretty good progress. One
of my podcasts has been downloaded nearly 900,000 times. And, the focus is interviewing authors.

Celebrity News: If you’re an author, you are a celebrity. This is a simple and effective
method of getting into my Celebrity News feed. When you click on this link it will take you offsite to
another webpage I publish. Follow the directions, who knows where it will lead.
